Educating the Best Pharmacists
in the World
Our organization aims to
Allow students with a special interest in pharmacy to join a group where they can share their ideas and concerns.
To serve as an information and resource center for students in regard to the preparation, the application, and the interview process for admittance into graduate pharmacy school.
Provide opportunities to network with admission representatives, faculty, and alumni pharmacists who work in a variety of career settings.
Facilitate students' understanding of the pharmacy profession.
Services to provide a medium for guest speakers to engage with those interested in the pharmaceutical sciences.
Provide several community service opportunities with those who have a shared professional interest and provide academic support for our members.
The Pre-Professional Pharmacy Association has a relatively short but proud history. The Pre-Professional Pharmacy Association is a pre health professional student organization of Howard University that was created to expose our members to all aspects of Pharmacy as a career, to equip our club members with the tools and knowledge necessary to be admitted to a pharmacy school, and to build lasting relationships that will provide for a mutually uplifting experience. We welcome students from all backgrounds with interests in the pharmaceutical profession.
